Bio-Imaging Systems

DNR Imaging Systems Ltd. was established in 1993 with the merger of two companies: Dinco Ltd., a provider of x-ray and microscopy equipment to Israeli hospitals and Rhenium Ltd., a laboratory supply importer. At that time, the Company’s main focus was the import of bio-imaging equipment to Israel.
In 1994, DNR established its own R&D department to develop imaging systems for biotechnology. DNR was the first to design and manufacture a video documentation system in which the darkroom was fully contained within the device, eliminating the need to transfer procedures to another location.
In these ten years, DNR has developed, and is now marketing, through its own global distribution network, a complete product range of video documentation systems for biotechnology research. Today, there are over 3,000 DNR systems in use in labs in university, government, commercial pharmaceutical and biotechnology research institutions worldwide.
DNR continues to lead the industry with cutting-edge video documentation systems designed to meet the needs of highly sophisticated labs with advanced imaging needs as well as small and mid-size labs with high performance requirements.
