8 July 2010 "Fold to Win" Origami Contest
At the Physiology 2010 Manchester meeting Cronus Technologies exhibited the cellZscope impedance spectroscopy system and held a "Fold to Win" origami contest.
Why origami?
The tenuous link was to another system in our portfolio - the Japan made Sort Analyser JSAN, a desktop flow cytometry cell sorter.
We received 35 entries. The contest was judged by Dr Lizzie Burns a science-based artist.
Dr Lizzie Burns: "I loved looking at those origami creations! ....the winner was beautiful and somehow reminded me of a virus in its symmetry and strength of design..."
The Winner - Lotus Flower, Ms. Naoise O Ciardha, University College Dublin
Second place - Runner-up Pterydactyl, Prof. Godfrey Smith, University of Glasgow
Third place - Commended Face, a pretty face!, Mr.Richard Skelly, University College Dublin
30 June - 2 July 2010 Physiology
At the Physiology Manchester meeting Cronus Technologies demonstrated the cellZscope impedance spectroscopy system.
28 June - 1 July 2010 Microscience 2010
At the Microscience 2010 exhibition Cronus Technologies demonstrated ImageStreamX and TissueFAXS imaging systems.
13-14 June 2010 BACR
At the BACR exhibition Cronus Technologies introduced two new analytical imaging platforms: ImageStreamX - Multispectral Cell Imaging system and the TissueFAXS for high resolution, automated multichannel microscopy.

Cronus Technologies is pleased to announce a partnership with NanoAnalytics - Analytical Instruments and Measuring Devices.

NanoAnalytics has extensive experience in the field of surface analysis and related application-oriented problems. Based on this know-how novel analytical methods and techniques are developed and brought to market as user-friendly instruments.
The cellZscope is a new device for measuring the transepithelial or transendothelial electrical impedance of cell layers under physiological conditions.
The Q-Control module is an add-on for Scanning Probe Microscopes. It allows to improve the performance of such microscopes and thereby to characterize delicate surface structures that are not accessible by conventional methods.

Cronus Technologies is pleased to announce a partnership with TissueGnostics

TissueGnostics is an EN ISO 13485:2003 certified Austrian Biotech Company focusing on image analysis.
Tissue Gnostics was established in 2003, prompted by long years of experience at Vienna’s University of Medicine and General Hospital Center. Much of this experience was associated with problems and insecurities due to flawed techniques of histological assessment.
Tissue Gnostics products are highly appropriate for a wide variety of diagnostic, biotechnological and pharmaceutical applications.
