Fluobeam Hand Held InVivo Imager
Fluoptics launches the first NEW HAND-HELD system for near infrared fluorescent animal imaging: Fluobeam™
This innovative hand-held imaging system detects 2D in vivo fluorescence. Fluobeam™ is equipped with a laser able to excite the near infrared fluorophores (NIR), associated with a crown of LEDs allowing to work under white light in opened space with a direct access to the animal.
Fluobeam™ is available at two excitation wavelengths:
Fluobeam™ 700 (λex: 680nm / λem: >700nm)
Fluobeam™ 800 (λex: 780nm / λem: >800nm)
Fluobeam™ is compatible with the most of the NIR dyes available on the market; it is one of the most sensitive systems, with an opened design for unconstrained protocols which allow to perform imaging from small (mouse, rat) to large animals (rabbit, pig, monkey, ewe, etc…).
A mechanical stand for Fluobeam™ is also available and recommended for preclinical applications which might require semi-quantification of the fluorescent signal or long integration times.
